A Biomass boiler burns renewable fuel to generate hot water for direct use or heating purposes. They can be used for residential, commercial and district heat applications.
The fuel they burn is in a constant carbon cycle and is generally a waste product from the left over material from other process for example; Trees are cut down, the "good" wood is used for manufacture and the rest is scrap or waste. This waste is split into two components. The first is used to fuel the pellet production process and the second is converted by the process into pellets. This leaves only a small amount of ash that is put back into the land. New trees are planted to replace the old in controlled forestry management. The new trees grow and remove CO2 from the atmosphere. In return the biomass fuel pellets are burnt releasing that CO2 and the cycle is closed. So, no additional CO2 is generated and energy is produced. Energy enters the cycle from the trees capturing sunlight; nature's solar panels.

They can also be moved to a new location if required. Perfect when conditions in the location do not allow installation in the existing boiler room, or make it significantly more difficult.

With the Janfire Integral Comfort Package you fill up with pellets twice yearly (normal home) and spend less than one hour of system maintenance. The system works just as well in the city as in the country. Pellets can be ordered by phone and will be delivered straight to your door by truck, as with oil. A Janfire boiler is designed with a large ash container, which means that you will not have to remove the ash more than twice yearly.
The internal decarbonisation is taken care of by simply pulling a lever located on the side of the boiler (can be automated), clean and easy. The Janfire burner and boiler are designed to work together in perfect balance and therefore deliver greater energy efficiency compared to using the burner with an old boiler.
The pellets storage tank “PelliStore” was designed to simplify automation and to reduce your workload. Place the PelliStore close to your heating system, another room or outside (must be built-in).
